Corn Maze Fun
We took the kids to a corn maze and part of this one was collecting different animal prints to figure out who stole the farmer's apple pie. We collected all six prints then went back to see what animals left those prints. A pretty cool idea. Daniel and Ashlynn both had a blast.
Bear Crossing
We almost weren't released from Bear World! We realized afterwards that feeding time was just 15 minutes away - explains a lot!

The Angels in Action!

Ashlynn loves playing goalie and she is quite good. The coach let her play that position twice today and this was the last save of the game.

Wonder Horse
Daniel can now climb on and ride the wonder horse all by himself. Sometimes he gets more into jumping on it than actual rocking, but either way, he loves it. He gets a little stuck climbing down however, so he hasn't completely mastered it, but he's getting close.

Riding the Motorcycle!
Daniel had so much fun! We put him on it and he grabbed on like a pro. When it stopped, he kept trying to make it go by rocking back and forth. So cute!

March 2011
Here's what's been going on with our family so far during the month of March. I have been too busy to actually blog about my trip, so hopefully you can put together the bits and peices and will at least have an idea of what is going on around here.
Daniel Walking around Outside
Daniel enjoying wandering around the backyard for the first time. He seemed to really enjoy it. This is going to be a great summer.

Daniel got to meet the source of his breakfasts yesterday. He was quite enthalled. He also met the goats. He went up to them saying "doggie!"
Ashlynn Skiing!
Ashlynn only got to go skiing once this year to due to scheduling, but she still did great. A good Daddy/Daughter day.

Look at Ashlynn go! She is skating so well. She has drastically improved from her first days of holding onto the bucket. Way to go Ashlynn!

Little Monkey
Daniel has been able to get into the tub for a while. Now he can get out. Guess I won't be moving that soft bath mat for a while! If something is missing (and it's not food) we check the tub because odds are that is where Daniel has stashed it. We will really be in trouble when he gets strong enough to turn the water on himself. He already tries, but we can get it cranked down enough that he can't. This baby LOVES water!

Daniel 9 months
I was trying to let Daniel wind down before bed and I think I only succeeded in winding him up! He has masted entry/exit of the ball pit and doesn't understand that the balls belong INSIDE the chopper, not outside. I you put them back in, he just goes over and will most likely get the same color that you just put back.
